Protection from the Enemy of your Calling
(Isaiah 59:19)
(Powerful Prayer for Pastors, Ministers and all Christians.)
To be used when...
Things are not moving in your ministry.
Your ministerial life is being attacked by disappointments, frustrations and division.
Signs and wonders completely elude your ministry.
You are unable to focus your attention on what God expects you to do.
You want to sharpen your spiritual sword.
You must be wary of the fact that the enemy is all out to frustrate your calling, but the moment you resist him through aggressive prayer, God will be at hand to bail you out.
(2 Timothy 4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Paul the Apostle often encourages his readers to fulfill their Ministry (Col 4:17). In his letter to his son Timothy, he gives him three keys to a successful ministry.
Key 1:"Watch thou all things" Jesus said we must watch and pray (Matt. 26:41). This means, we must be alert. The Bible says, "be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom may devour" (1 Petr 5:8). We can not give the devil a foothold in our lives. We must examine ourselves daily whether we are still in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:15). We have to live holy and blameless lives, because our God is holly.
Key 2: Endure afflictions. Persecution will always arise because of your work for God. Jesus said, " in the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:37). This is a promise of tribulation and affliction. We must bear it and encourage ourselves so we can grow unto maturity (James 1:4).
Key 3: Do the work of your ministry. Whatever the Lord has called you to do. Your ministry could be evangelism, teaching, singing in church or planting the seed. You must be serious and fulfill your calling.
In (Matthew 24:45-51), we see a careless man who did not fulfill his call being thrown where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth!
Brothers and sisters, as you use these three keys, you will fortify your spirit in you; and you will defeat the enemy of your calling.
In Joshua 3:13–17,
the priests, as commanded by God, stepped into the Jordan, the river
stopped flowing, and Israel crossed the Jordan. How many of us today are
standing on the bank of the Jordan afraid or unwilling to get our feet
wet? And what does the analogy of “getting our feet wet” mean?
To get one’s feet wet means to step out in faith. It is an act of faith and an act of surrender.
Are
you going to just stand on the bank of the Jordan waiting for something
to happen or are you going to take action and get your feet wet?
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Enough is Enough! You have the right to live a victorious life.

by the wayside in most churches today.
