Prayer for Healing
Freedom From Diseases & Infirmities
Sickness and disease did not exists in the original plan of GOD. Upon completion of the work of each creation day, God passed it through His quality control laboratory and declared "it is very good."
Jesus clearly gave authority to His disciples to heal others.
"And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease". (Mat 10:1) KJV
This healing power was not reserved to just the disciples of Jesus.(Luke 10:1-2, 9)
This healing power was given to all believers. (Mark 16:17-18)
Prayer is a gift to you and privilege. The gift is offered to all and all may become the wielders of the great power of prayer. However, the fact remains that the power of prayer is least exercised by average believer. Many Christians needs to rise if they expect serious breakthroughs. These prayers are targeted for certain needs so that as you are praying, you will not be beating the air.
Note: Spent part of the vigil or fasting praying in the Spirit. To pray in the Spirit, you must have been baptized in the Holy Ghost (not water baptism) - (1Cor.14:15) What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
(Matthew 6:33) says," But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" We are to seek that wonderful relationship with Jesus before anything else.
Healing Scriptures
"And said, If thou wilt dilligently hearken to the voice of the Lord they God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee." (Ex. 15:26)
"And ye shall serve the Lord thy God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee." (Ex. 23:25)
"Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation; there shall be no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." (Psalms 91:9-11)
"Bless the Lord O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases..." (Psalms 103:1-3)
"Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry." (Psalms 106:43,44)
"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."(Isaiah 53:3-6)
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." (I Peter 2:24)
"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those that were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had palsy; and he healed them all. (Matthew 4:23,24)
"And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and in no wise could lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, `Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.' And he laid hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God...`Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond...' (Luke 13:11-16).
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my Name shall they cast out devils...they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." (Mark 16:17,18)
"Now there are different gifts but the same Spirit...for to one is given the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit, to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit..." l Cor. 12:4-14)
"Is there any sick among you? Let him/her call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him/her, anointing them with oil in the Name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up and he they have committed sins, they shall be forgiven them.Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:14-16)

Anyone
who wishes to live a victorious life in Jesus Christ should release
that we all are dealing with a myriad of attacks from the devil.
Many
of you are under attack without even realizing it, or you know that you
are under attack but don't know how to deal with it. The subject of
spiritual warfare is a necessary teaching that has unfortunately fallen
by the wayside in most churches today.
There
are numerous passages in the Bible that address this issue. Perhaps the
most important is that we are overwhelming victors through Jesus
Christ. Jesus made it clear that we have authority over these things and
we are not to be in fear.
A
ministry can easily be inundated by prayer requests from people all
over the world. Prayer teams can be formed for this purpose but the end
result is that no one learns how to win on their own and the attacks may
come back.
